Hi, I’m Chad & Mark Lyon (from Phat A$tronaut)

Phat A$tronaut - Xenosis - ChadBrowneSpringer - Mark Lyon

MoAR #32 will be headlined by Hi I'm Chad (Chad Browne-Springer) and Mark Lyon from Phat A$tronaut, the band they formed after meeting on a D'Angelo tribute gig. This is not only their FIRST MoAR performance, but also their FIRST time performing as a duo. Don't miss this groundbreaking event! We don't know what to expect, but we're counting on something funky and experimental, filled with soul / organic to the bone, with tons of earthly rhythms. You can catch the full band performing live at Brooklyn Bowl on 11/19/18 as well several other local CT shows through the end of the year. The full ensemble's debut album, The Fifth Dimension is available on all streaming services.

JAMES DARLING AND THE NUCLEAR HEARTBREAK

James Darling and the Nuclear Heartbreak

Another first-timer at Monsters of Acoustic Rock, this Stamford, CT power trio brings together guitarist/singer James Darling alongside bassist Paul Fiscella, and drummer Gio Gomez. The group's debut EP, CH.1, was released in Aug '17 with CH. 2 following this past September. We're anticipating crowd participation with JDNH's dynamic mix of overall rock infused with folk and blues with punk-influenced crowd vocals inherently bringing on singalongs, a la arms around each other in the crowd with fists banging and arms swinging high in the air!

Hatfield

Hatfield is coming to Monsters of Acoustic Rock

Hatfield describes his style as, "blending rhythmic acoustics with bright, melodic vocals, <he> carves out a dynamic and versatile sound. Subject matter varies from personal to fundamental concepts, culminating in the sense that life is a cycle of triumph and struggle, necessary in forming one's identity. The message is one of introspection, acceptance and forgiveness."

We're looking forward to Hatfield treating the crowd to his energetic guitar and throaty vocals in his Monsters of Acoustic Rock debut.

Zach Andersen:

Once again, Zach will be treating the MoAR crowd to a special set selected at random. This is sure to mean a mix of oldies, new songs, crowd favorites and lesser known gems.

We have previously mentioned that not only is Zach a talented singer songwriter, but he also makes amazing videos. Congratulations to Zach for winning both Best of Show and Best Drama at last month's Pacific Media Expo for his AMV for "A Silent Worry."

If you can't get enough of Zach's videos, you are in luck, because another one of his works was released earlier this month by veteran MoAR performer, Kala Farnham, in conjunction with the release of her new single, “Happy For You”.
