The monthly concert series in Sage Sound Studios' live / rehearsal room
Monsters of Acoustic Rock on 9/21/18 will feature special performances by:
7:30PM, $5, All Ages.
@Sage Sound Studios - 549 Howe Ave, Shelton, Connecticut 06484
Performing at the Sage Sound Studios live room for the first time, Scott Danger Bravo (NYC), is acoustic, instrumental with a hybrid style of finger picking being dubbed "sloth" style. Rather than strictly finger picking, commonly seen in the "fingerstyle" genre, Scott uses a pick along with his thumb to attack the strings on his guitar.
An upstate New York native, Scott came out of the Syracuse hardcore and metal scene. Scott moved to Minneapolis in '00, playing guitar with the seminal midwest metal band Collapse. Upon discovering Tommy Emmanuel's album Only, Scott ditched his electric gear and became solely dedicated to acoustic instrumental music.
You can hear the influences of Al DiMeola, Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Slash and more in Scott's jazz-infused shredding, all the way to his mellow blues. Scott was one of the performers at "Buskers of Acoustic Rock", hosted by Sage Sound Studios at College Street Music Hall as part of Make Music New Haven in June, and we know you'll be thoroughly impressed to see him at MoAR just as Milford-TV.com viewers witnessed this summer;
Scott is always on the road and performing - Keep up with Scott on:

Terri has been performing her immediately relatable brand of deeply emotive and often lyrically haunting folk, in this area for the last several years.
We can't wait for Terri's first performance at Sage Sound Studios, because we know her uniquely percussive guitar accompanied by powerful vocals, will lace our live room with an ethereal foundation of sound.
Also adding to Terri's first appearance at MoAR, Nick Santore from Jason Ingriselli & The Miles North (and the now defunct Eurisko), will be joining Terri with backing guitar and leads.

Jeff will be showcasing his singer/songwriter skills in the Americana/Country genre at Monsters of Acoustic Rock. Jeff channels influences from the past in Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and Kris Kristofferson, and also the present in Ryan Adams and Jason Isbell. A true storyteller, Jeff will take you away from the trials and tribulations of your every day life, by way of catchy lyrics and honk-tonk vibes.
Jeffs second album, Jeff Przech & The Outfit, was released in April and is now available on Amazon, Google, Bandcamp and Spotify.

Zach is always coming up with new ways to arrange his monthly set at MoAR. This month, crowd participation will be a must, as concert goers will get to pick songs for Zach's indie acoustic set from a hat!
Although Zach's September MoAR set will be random, there is nothing random about his songs. Every lyric and melody is carefully crafted - Whether it's Zach's tongue-in-cheek "The Allergy Song", that always brings a smile and a good laugh, or the pulling at your heart strings "Spend My Life".
In addition to performing at and organizing the Monsters of Acoustic Rock Concert Series, Zach Andersen records an alphabetical interview series, called: From Z to A, with all first-time Monsters of Acoustic Rock artists, including recording video of their live sets!
Check out all of the From Z to A interviews, at its dedicated YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD8ozZ12n1f0TeCe2C-BnXg/featured
The From Z to A interview series is up to 56 episodes from 29 MoAR shows.
