Celebrate the launch of Sage Sound Studios at Make Music New Haven Day

In celebration of our launch, we are excited to collaborate with the New Haven Center for

Performing Arts to present the “Buskers of Acoustic Rock” on June 21, 2018 as part of Make Music New Haven Day. We hope you’ll join us under the College Street Music Hall marquee from 12pm-4pm for performances by:

Zach Andersen - After breaking his neck, all Zach Andersen could do during the recuperation process was play video games and learn to play guitar. Once he was all healed, he jokingly thought it would be fun to write his own songs. A few minutes later, this joke turned into a new passion and the formation of The Andersen Brothers (or something like that). Along with his brother, Eric, Zach took the local music scene by storm with their catchy, relatable and nostalgic songs. Their first album, "Unrequited Daze", was released in 2011 and contained crowd favorite "However Hard She Tries" and several other TAB classics. With the Andersen Brothers on hiatus, Zach has continued writing, recording several solo projects including: a children's album, 3 EPs, and multiple singles. When Zach is not in the studio, you can find him performing intimate, acoustic shows or the rare, full band set. Listen: https://zachandersen.bandcamp.com/

James' work spans many years, playing in various Indie bands as a bassist, guitarist, and

vocalist – both lead, and backing. Currently he is a founding member and the guitarist/lead

vocalist of Shelton-based band “The Inside Out”, and is the bassist for “Indoor Living”. James is an up-and-coming sound engineer, who has been learning under the wing of Sage Sound's Chief Engineer, Nathan Sage. Listen: https://theinsideout.bandcamp.com/releases

Scott “Danger” Bravo is an acoustic, instrumental, guitarist from NYC. Scott comes from '90s

Syracuse hardcore to metal in Minneapolis with Collapse in the early '00s, to solely acoustic

instrumental in the mid-to-late '00's. Recording and touring nationwide, Scott currently resides in NYC, performing up to 250 shows a year.

Steph Serenita has Janis Joplin-esque intensity, soul, and vocal range. Her storytelling in

between songs will only draw you in further. Even with the heartbreak and every-day-life

frustrations worked out through Steph's lyrics and song, you will be left uplifted and inspired.

Acoustic originals and covers, for fans of folk, alternative/90’s rock, and classic rock.
